Terah Hennick joins as a summer intern

Terah was born in Anchorage, Alaska. She has a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, USA. She has experience researching laryngeal physiology at UW – Madison, interning for Covidien’s Surgical Solutions division in Colorado USA, and co-founding a start-up company STELA Medical, LLC. In the spring of 2015 she moved to Finland as part of the Brittingham Viking Organization Ehrnrooth Scholarship and to take post-baccalaureate courses at Aalto University. Currently, she is applying to medical school in the U.S. and for the summer of 2015 she will be an AScI intern in the User Interfaces Research Group researching brain activity during word prediction as well as ability optimized design intended to develop and 3D print tools based on user’s motor capabilities.
